Base gets licence extension approved

Base Resources has secured approval from the Kenyan government for the extension of a special mining licence (SML) which would allow the company to grow the footprint of it Kwale mineral sands mine in the East African nation, Kenyan media outlets have reported.

Base said in a statement it "looks forward to shortly finalising the form of Deed of Variation that will give effect to the proposed extension, at which time a further update will be provided to the market"....
