Avanco speeds ahead with Antas funding

Australia-listed Avanco Resources has ditched debt funding plans for stage one of its Antas North copper project in Carajas, Brazil, and proposed an A$80 million (US$62 million) equity and royalty package, which could see the company start production within 12 months.

The company plans to raise A$19.9 million through a placement with private equity funds Greenstone Resources and the Appian Natural Resources fund, in addition to a fund managed by BlackRock World Mining...
