Glencore’s upcoming investor day in early December is when CEO Ivan Glasenberg is expected to reveal more about the turnaround plan for the loss-making Africa copper operations that pummelled first half numbers. The business declared a loss of US$319 million against an $817 million contribution in the same period of 2018.
