Gold M&A set to take off: Mazumdar

M&A in the gold space is heating up with broad expectation that it will accelerate once travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic are eased. Mining Journal spoke with Joe Mazumdar of Exploration Insights about how M&A might unfold. In addition to looking for opportunities as an investor, Mazumdar’s background includes working in corporate development for a major gold miner, so he’s well-versed and knowledgeable about what corporates are looking for and what make good acquisition targets.
