As a London resident, the prospect of a trip to Cape Town early February is not exactly a hard sell. But Mining Indaba boasts an intimidating reputation for chewing up fresh-faced execs and spitting them out on the Camp’s Bay shore shortly before dawn. Could I handle the pace? Would I be dubbed ‘weakest on ground’ by the Perth hardcore?
