Polarising Peru election too close to call

The presidential election in Peru pitting Keiko Fujimori of the centre right Fuerza Popular party against political newcomer Pedro Castillo of the left-leaning Peru Libre party is too close to call with a final result not likely until late Tuesday or early Wednesday once votes from the Peruvian international diaspora have been counted. Even then, there may be a demand for a recount.
