Anglo's Los Bronces permit denied

Chile’s Environmental Assessment Service (SEA) has rejected Anglo American’s environmental permit application for the Los Bronces Integrated Project (LBIP), which contemplates an underground mine within the copper mine’s operating site to extend the mine life from 23 years to 40 years.
