Vale's search for a base metals partner ongoing, as rumours of Saudi deal swirl

Brazilian mining giant Vale said on July 26 that it is still "actively looking" looking for partners for its base metals unit, after media reports that it is close to nailing down a deal with Saudi state-backed investors.
