Fortescue ends year-long search for new CEO

Australian mining giant Fortescue Metals Group has ended its year-long hunt for a new chief executive with the appointment of Woodside Energy veteran Fiona Hick, who will step into the role in February next year.

Next year will mark Fortescue’s 20th year with Hicks the third CEO in that time.
