Nickel's ESG face off

Nickel sulphate production for use in lithium-ion batteries will become even more concentrated in Indonesia and China despite the Western world’s increasing uneasiness about its growing dependency on these sources, Olivier Masson, principal analyst of battery raw materials at Fastmarkets told delegates at the 15th Lithium Supply and Battery Raw Materials conference in Henderson, Nevada, US on Tuesday.
