Goldex advisory board gains West African experience

Goldex Resources (TSXV:GDX) has appointed geologist Greg Hawkins to its advisory board to apply his West African expertise to the company’s Korokoro project in Mali.

Greg Hawkins' West African experience will come in handy at Goldex's Korokoro project

He has been involved in the mining exploration industry for almost five decades and identified and/or delineated 10 minerals deposits in Canada, the US, Chile, Ghana, Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Hawkins started contracting firm CME Consulting in 1990 and been a founding project consultant and/or founding director of Brohm Mining, Dayton Mining, Nevsun Resources, Banro Resources, Tagish Lake Gold, African Gold Group and Yellowhead Mining.

In 2004 he was awarded the Frank Woodside Past Presidents Award by the British Columbia and Yukon Chamber of Mines for his outstanding contribution to the mining industry.
